About the role
We are looking for a reliable School Cleaner to join our team on a part‑time basis. You will work in a supportive school environment, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and safe for students and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, cloakrooms, offices, and halls to a high standard.
- Perform cleaning duties during allocated shifts (6:30 am – 8:30 am or 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm).
- Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Required profile
- Hold a valid enhanced DBS check (on the update service or dated within the last 12 months).
- Attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
