Science Supply Teacher – Oldham & Rochdale

About the role

We are seeking qualified Science supply teachers to cover short‑term and long‑term assignments in schools across Oldham and Rochdale. You will teach Chemistry, Biology or Physics on a flexible basis, stepping in to deliver planned lessons and maintain classroom momentum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in your subject area.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Follow the school’s existing lesson plans and assessment procedures.
• Provide feedback to students during class time without additional marking duties.
• Report attendance and complete timesheets through the online portal.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a current teaching licence.
• Residency or willingness to travel within Oldham and Rochdale.
• Flexibility to accept full‑time, part‑time or occasional shifts.
• Enthusiasm for hands‑on science teaching.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry, Biology or Physics.
