Science Teacher – Flexible Permanent or Supply Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers to join secondary schools in and around Caterham. The role can be permanent, supply or day‑to‑day, allowing you to start when it suits you. You will inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, fostering a love of scientific inquiry.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Science lessons for KS3‑KS5.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel valued.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to address diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and enhance learning experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related discipline.
• Teaching certification or demonstrable teaching experience.
• Strong grasp of scientific concepts and genuine passion for education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and support students to achieve their full potential.
