Science Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our secondary school in Guildford from September 2026. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and may progress from a temporary to a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Plan, prepare and assess coursework and examinations.
• Use interactive teaching methods and Smartboard technology to enhance learning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and whole‑school training events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level in the UK.
• Strong classroom management and ability to create an inclusive environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Effective lesson planning and assessment.

• Use of interactive Smartboard equipment.
• Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learner needs.
