Science Teacher – Permanent Positions in Kent

About the role

We are partnering with schools across Kent to recruit qualified Science Teachers for permanent positions starting in September. The role covers Biology, Chemistry or Physics teaching in secondary schools that benefit from modern laboratories and rich outdoor learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry or Physics aligned with the national curriculum.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure health and safety standards.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Contribute to the development of STEM programmes and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary projects and fieldwork opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Science.
• Experience teaching secondary‑level Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality science education in a permanent role.
• Willingness to relocate to Kent and integrate into local school communities.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
