Science Teacher – Secondary School (East London)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is partnering with a secondary school in East London to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher. You will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 if required.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver science lessons for KS3 and KS4 curricula.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to the development of the science department and school-wide initiatives.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs and promote a safe classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and safeguarding duties.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school.
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics at KS5 (desirable).
- Reliable, punctual and committed to student achievement.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check.
