Search Engine Optimization Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Search Engine Optimization Analyst to join a leading Fortune 100 financial services brand on a 12‑month contract. The role is hybrid, based in London, and will focus on technical SEO, structured data and AI‑driven content optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support SEO initiatives to improve organic visibility and search performance.
• Drive projects around emerging search technologies and AI‑based discovery experiences.
• Collaborate with content, product, engineering, analytics and marketing teams to enhance digital discoverability.
• Assess website crawlability, indexation, site architecture and identify technical SEO opportunities.
• Implement and maintain structured data and schema markup.
• Optimise content for better visibility and engagement across search channels.
• Monitor search performance, analyse metrics and recommend improvements.
• Conduct competitive analysis and research on emerging trends and best practices.
• Prepare reporting, documentation and actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO concepts including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their impact on search.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
