Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

Nebula is seeking a part‑time Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join its hybrid team in the London area. You will help technical, engineering and service‑based clients improve their online visibility, attract qualified traffic and convert leads.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and develop on‑page SEO strategies, including metadata, headings, internal linking and content structure.
• Perform comprehensive technical and content SEO audits to identify issues affecting organic performance.
• Optimize on‑page elements and collaborate with writers and designers to ensure content is search‑friendly and user‑focused.
• Develop and execute ethical link‑building campaigns to acquire high‑quality backlinks.
• Monitor performance using web analytics and SEO tools, prepare concise reports and communicate insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven ability to conduct keyword research and on‑page SEO.
• Experience delivering full SEO audits and recommending technical, content and UX improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain SEO concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple client priorities and meet deadlines.
