About the role
Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to cover secondary classes across schools in Cornwall. This flexible role suits qualified teachers who want short‑term placements, long‑term assignments, or day‑to‑day cover.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that follow each school’s curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and age groups.
- Provide feedback to permanent staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly.
- Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
