About the role

The Supply Register Ltd is recruiting secondary teachers for Tavistock College, part of the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust. This flexible, part‑time or contractor position allows you to choose the days you work while delivering high‑quality lessons to secondary pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging secondary curriculum lessons.
• Maintain classroom discipline and act as a positive role model for students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff and the local partnership manager to meet teaching needs.
• Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent classroom experience, either as an experienced teacher or newly qualified.
• Commitment to raising standards and safeguarding student welfare.
• Passion for teaching and ability to inspire learners.
