Secondary Teacher – Subject Specialist (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role
We are partnering with a range of well‑regarded secondary schools across Brighton and the wider Sussex area to recruit passionate subject specialist teachers. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils (and KS5 in some settings) and using your expertise to inspire the next generation.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Use strong subject knowledge to stretch and challenge students.
- Track progress, provide effective feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental and whole‑school development initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong academic background in your subject specialism.
- Experience teaching in a UK secondary setting (including ECT placements).
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and educational excellence.
