Self Employed Mortgage Broker (Home-based)

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed mortgage broker to work from home while maintaining regular contact with our Essex office. The role offers strong earning potential supported by high‑quality leads and a dedicated case manager.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a range of specialist lending products, including buy‑to‑let (BTL) mortgages and bridging finance.
• Generate new business through proactive outreach and relationship building.
• Collaborate with a case manager who handles administrative and documentation tasks.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a mortgage broker.
• CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
• Experience within the specialist lending market (BTL, bridging).
• Self‑motivated, sales‑driven and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Mortgage broking knowledge.
• Understanding of BTL mortgage products.
• Understanding of bridging finance products.
