Self‑Employed Commercial & Asset Finance Broker

About the role

We are seeking motivated, self‑employed Commercial and Asset Finance Brokers to join a well‑established IFA and finance broking firm near Maidstone. The role offers a fully supported business environment with access to a wide range of lending partners and a large client base for cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new client leads and build a personal portfolio of commercial finance customers.
• Advise clients on a variety of products, including secured and unsecured loans, asset finance, bridging finance, commercial mortgages, cash‑flow lending, development finance and stock finance.
• Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring compliance with lender requirements.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Collaborate with the firm’s infrastructure team to leverage marketing and administrative support.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a commercial or asset finance broker.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently without upfront costs.
• Strong network of potential business clients or ability to generate leads.
• Understanding of UK finance regulations and lending processes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of secured and unsecured loan products.
• Experience with asset finance and bridging finance solutions.
• Familiarity with commercial mortgage and development finance structures.
