Semi Senior Accountant – Chartered Accountancy Firm

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified or semi‑senior accountant to join a modern chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge. The firm offers full AAT or ACA/ACCA study support and on‑the‑job training, providing a supportive environment for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, SMEs and OMBs.
• Handle tax compliance, including corporation tax, VAT returns, CIS and payroll processing.
• Provide bookkeeping, management reporting and general accountancy services.
• Assist clients who are primarily under the audit threshold across various industries.

Required profile

• Currently studying AAT and/or ACCA, or qualified AAT with 2‑4 years of practice experience.
• Experience preparing accounts, tax returns and handling bookkeeping for diverse clients.
• Motivated to pursue a long‑term career in a growing chartered accountancy firm.
