Semi‑Senior Accountant – Medway Practice

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Semi‑Senior Accountant to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Medway. This role offers the chance to work with a varied client portfolio across multiple industries while developing your technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Produce management accounts and deliver insightful analysis to clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information, answer queries and provide advice.
• Support partner review processes with accurate and timely work.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and add value for clients.
• Manage multiple deadlines in a busy practice setting.

Required profile

• Strong experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Knowledge of personal and corporate tax implications arising from accounts.
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
