SEN Primary Tutor – Part‑time 1:1 Support in Bromley

About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Primary Tutor to provide one‑to‑one support for primary‑aged pupils in Bromley. You will deliver tailored sessions in English and Maths while offering general SEN support to help pupils build confidence and make academic progress.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 lessons in English and Maths.
- Assess each pupil’s individual learning needs and adapt resources accordingly.
- Support children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and adjust teaching strategies as required.
- Ensure a safe, positive learning environment and follow safeguarding procedures.
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers and support staff about pupil development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, EYFS qualification or equivalent.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Experience teaching or tutoring primary‑aged pupils.
- Good knowledge of the primary curriculum, especially English and Maths.
- Minimum six months’ experience in a UK educational setting.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
