SEN Teacher – Ashford and surrounding areas

About the role

We are seeking passionate SEN Teachers to join schools in Ashford and surrounding areas of Kent. The role involves delivering tailored, inclusive education for pupils with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet individual SEN pupil needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to support individual learning plans.
• Assess progress regularly and adapt strategies to promote academic and personal growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Uphold school safeguarding and SEN policies at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching children with SEN, especially ASD, SEMH, and complex needs.
• Passion for inclusive education and positive impact.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced Child‑only DBS (or willingness to obtain).
• Full legal right to work in the UK.
