About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Gravesend, Kent. The role starts in September 2026 (or ASAP) and offers a long‑term, potentially permanent position within a supportive, child‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

Teach small classes of pupils with ASD, communication difficulties and complex needs, supported by strong TA assistance.
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with each pupil’s EHCP.
Collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists and other support staff to meet individual learning goals.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
At least one year of UK teaching experience.
Previous experience in a SEND setting is desirable.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
