SEN Teacher – Full‑time role in Gravesend

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Gravesend, Kent. The role starts in September 2026 (or ASAP) and offers a long‑term, potentially permanent position within a supportive, child‑centred environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach small classes of pupils with ASD, communication difficulties and complex needs, supported by strong TA assistance.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with each pupil’s EHCP.
- Collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists and other support staff to meet individual learning goals.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- At least one year of UK teaching experience.
- Previous experience in a SEND setting is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
