About the role
Apex Educ8 is recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in Slough for a dedicated SEN Teacher to start in September 2026. You will join a supportive, forward‑thinking team and help pupils with additional needs reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Monitor progress, assess achievement and contribute to annual reviews and reports.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families to support each pupil’s development.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible and compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners.
