SEN Teacher – Key Stage 1‑2 (Bromley)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join an Ofsted‑rated Outstanding special‑needs school in Bromley. You will work with Key Stage 1‑2 pupils who have ASD and complex needs, delivering a highly adapted curriculum in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons using a differentiated secondary curriculum.
- Support students with ASD, communication difficulties and sensory needs.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, external professionals and teaching assistants.
- Create and maintain a structured, supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Lead and work closely with the classroom support team.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience or strong understanding of supporting students with ASD and complex needs.
- Secondary school teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Daily rate of £200‑£265, dependent on experience.
