SEN Teacher – Primary & Secondary (London)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in North West London, supporting primary and secondary students with a range of special educational needs. The role starts immediately and offers a competitive daily rate.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with diverse learning difficulties and complex needs.
- Utilise alternative teaching methods such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions.
- Promote confidence and independence among students.
- Implement behaviour management techniques, including physical restraints where necessary, to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors and psychologists.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Right to work in the UK.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
- Current DBS clearance.
- Experience teaching in a UK school.
- Patient, proactive attitude.
