SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support in West London Primary School

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex special educational needs in a mainstream primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and offers the chance to work within a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one assistance to a pupil with complex SEN needs throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt lessons and resources.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and support the pupil’s wellbeing.
• Participate in staff training and development sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
