SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time Primary School

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Westminster. This full‑time, term‑time position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to make a genuine difference for children with additional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning inside and outside the classroom.
• Deliver targeted small‑group interventions focused on literacy, numeracy, communication, and social development.
• Support children with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils to aid their social, emotional, and academic development.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school, specialist provision, nursery, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or other additional learning needs.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
