SEN Teaching Assistant – Grade 3 (Part‑time mornings)

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Grade 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to work part‑time in the mornings, supporting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils with special educational needs. The role is fixed‑term until July 2027 and offers the chance to contribute to a nurturing, Christian‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils with SEND.
• Deliver planned interventions to raise attainment and monitor progress.
• Assist with behaviour management and promote pupil wellbeing.
• Supervise pupils during breaks and movement around the school.
• Maintain accurate intervention records and documentation.
• Apply the National Teaching Assistant Standards in daily practice.
