About the role
Join a welcoming primary school in Plymouth as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. You will provide dedicated support to pupils with additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist in delivering personalised learning plans (EHCPs).
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to enhance the educational experience.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or in SEN settings (desirable).
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and parent interaction.
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 (desirable but not essential).
