About the role
Join a vibrant, inclusive specialist provision in Sittingbourne, supporting young people aged 16‑25 to develop confidence, independence and employability. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will work in both classroom and vocational workshop settings, helping learners achieve their personal and educational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Support students in classroom and workshop environments.
- Assist in delivering engaging, tailored learning plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support.
- Encourage confidence, independence and active engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and external professionals.
Required profile
- Warm, patient and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding.
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to train.
- Experience with SEND or SEMH learners (desirable but not essential).
