SEND Teacher – Flexible Primary School Assignments

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic SEND Teachers to start in September across primary schools in Hackney and the wider East London area. You will work within a specialist education agency, providing support to pupils with a range of additional needs in both short‑term and long‑term placements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for SEND pupils.
- Adapt curriculum and resources to meet individual education plans.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback.
- Collaborate with senior staff, teaching assistants and external specialists.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with SEND pupils in school or specialist settings.
- Strong commitment to improving outcomes for children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, MLD/SLD or complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
