About the role
Join Trimdon Hill School as a SEND Teacher, delivering an autism‑informed curriculum to pupils aged 4‑11. You will use creativity and a child‑centred approach to support academic progress and personal wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, engaging lessons that meet each pupil’s unique needs.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom where every child can thrive.
- Develop creative teaching strategies that spark curiosity and boost confidence.
- Work closely with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
- Track progress and champion both academic and personal development.
- Help shape a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel understood and empowered.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for supporting children with autism and complex needs.
- Proven ability to create inclusive, exciting learning experiences.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.
- A calm, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching.
