SEND Teaching Assistant – Full‑time (Daily Rate £90‑£130)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Greenwich. This full‑time, temporary position offers a daily rate of £90‑£130 and provides the chance to support children with special educational needs in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering educational activities.
• Support students’ academic and social development both inside and outside the classroom.
• Prepare lesson materials, set up equipment, and ensure a safe learning space.
• Monitor student progress and relay feedback to teachers and parents.
• Supervise students during non‑classroom times, including outings and field trips.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Patience, understanding, and capability to manage groups of students.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with teachers and staff.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
