About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Greenwich. This full‑time, temporary position offers a daily rate of £90‑£130 and provides the chance to support children with special educational needs in a nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering educational activities.
- Support students’ academic and social development both inside and outside the classroom.
- Prepare lesson materials, set up equipment, and ensure a safe learning space.
- Monitor student progress and relay feedback to teachers and parents.
- Supervise students during non‑classroom times, including outings and field trips.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Patience, understanding, and capability to manage groups of students.
- Proactive, collaborative approach with teachers and staff.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
