Senior Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Handler to join a leading insurance broker’s corporate team in Manchester. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK and global corporate accounts, supporting the Account Executives and senior leadership in delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of corporate accounts, handling renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business opportunities.
• Prepare accurate client and market documentation, ensuring policy documents are compliant.
• Identify client risk exposures and propose practical insurance solutions in collaboration with senior staff.
• Attend client meetings and events to build trusted relationships.
• Analyse claims data, including deductibles and cover variations, to inform client advice.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large commercial or corporate insurance, with global exposure a plus.
• Strong ability to broker and service corporate client requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of relevant classes of business.
• CII qualified or working towards CII qualifications.
