Senior Account Manager

About the role

Global Autocare Limited is a leading UK fleet management and rental business. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to nurture key customer relationships, drive commercial performance and support the growth of our rental fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all customer matters.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering strategic account reviews and maintaining agreed service standards.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through solution‑based selling and increased customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations and other internal teams to deliver tailored fleet and rental solutions.
• Monitor account performance, commercial viability and payment activity, managing risks and resolving escalations.
• Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts and customer insights to clients and senior management.
• Negotiate commercial terms, present proposals and support implementation of value‑added services.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to continuous improvement of account management processes.
• Coach and mentor junior Account Managers and Account Executives.

Required profile

• Proven success in senior account management, B2B sales or client relationship roles, preferably within fleet management, vehicle leasing or automotive services.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of identifying growth opportunities and delivering measurable results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident engaging at all organisational levels.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
