Senior Accountant – hybrid (5 days in 4 available or 9/fortnight)

About the role

We are a well‑established, growing accountancy practice based in central Bristol. The Senior Accountant will manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across multiple sectors.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP, FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Review and file corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for directors and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Provide management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow advice.
• Act as the primary client contact, building long‑term relationships and identifying value‑adding opportunities.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist/QBE.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deadlines.
