Senior Accountant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Provide guidance, training and feedback to junior team members to support their professional growth.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver high‑quality advisory services.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives that enhance departmental efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with managers to meet client service levels and deadline commitments.

Required profile

• Professional qualification equivalent to ACA, ACCA or similar.
• Solid experience in accounting and statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
