Senior Accountant

About the role
Our client, a boutique private accountancy practice in London, is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to support the Senior Director during a period of growth. The role involves delivering high‑quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of self‑employed and landlord clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and profit & loss forecasts.
- Develop cash‑flow forecasts and annual statutory accounts.
- Compile corporation tax returns and manage Companies House and HMRC compliance.
- Prepare annual self‑employed accounts and self‑assessment tax returns.
- Execute quarterly MTD filings for eligible self‑employed and landlord clients.
Required profile
- Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or QBE.
- Experience in a similar accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax and compliance requirements.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
