Senior Accountant - Legal Entities

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting for a business that manages hundreds of legal entities. The role is based in central Bristol and requires three days a week on site, offering a blend of strategic oversight and hands‑on accounting work in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead a small team, providing coaching, performance feedback and development opportunities.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities across multiple legal entities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements for a listed company.
• Drive process improvements and maintain robust accounting controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with solid IFRS knowledge.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm followed by a senior role in industry.
• Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a complex, high‑pressure setting.
