Senior Accountant – Newquay

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a thriving Newquay‑based practice. You will work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high‑quality accounting and tax reporting while supporting the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review clients’ accounting records, financial statements and tax returns.
• Provide ongoing advisory support on accounting and taxation matters.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with clients and internal peers.

Required profile

• Significant experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
• ACA or ACCA qualification is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements with accuracy and professionalism.
