Senior Accountant – Professional Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our professional services team in Leeds. You will deliver high‑quality accounting and financial services to a range of clients, ensuring compliance and adding strategic value.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements for clients.
• Manage client accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning and financial strategies.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports and tax filings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Analyse financial data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA with broad UK accounting and tax expertise.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits.
• Confidence in corporate tax, VAT, personal tax and self‑assessment.
• Strong team leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent communication, prioritisation and accuracy.
