Senior AI Strategy Consultant

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing AI consultancy, is seeking a Senior AI Strategy Consultant to lead early‑stage client conversations, shape AI strategies and roadmaps, and turn interest into long‑term, high‑value engagements. You will act as the senior client‑facing voice, bridging strategy and delivery while representing the firm at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand client objectives and AI maturity.
• Build and present AI strategies, roadmaps, and pilot proposals.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert in proposals, pitches and commercial negotiations.
• Develop long‑term client accounts from initial deployment to ongoing innovation partnerships.
• Partner with delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth handover from strategy to execution.
• Contribute to internal frameworks, methodologies and thought‑leadership content.
• Represent the business at conferences, webinars and customer forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience shaping AI strategy for mid‑market or enterprise clients.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify high‑value opportunities and articulate ROI.
• Solid grounding in modern data platforms, governance and AI tooling.
• Understanding of generative AI risk, bias, accuracy and compliance considerations.
• Confidence operating in ambiguous environments and influencing senior stakeholders.
