Senior Asset Manager

About the role

The Senior Asset Manager will lead the strategic and operational management of a residential housing portfolio in London. You will ensure assets are maintained, investments are prioritised, and performance targets are met while supporting sustainability and net‑zero objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the asset management strategy, maintaining accurate asset intelligence and stock condition data.
• Lead planned investment and capital works programmes, overseeing procurement, mobilisation, delivery, and contractor performance.
• Manage stock condition surveys, lifecycle investment modelling, and evidence‑based investment planning.
• Drive EPC improvement, energy‑efficiency initiatives and embed sustainability principles into investment decisions.
• Create and maintain long‑term asset plans (5‑, 10‑, 15‑ and 30‑year) and conduct NPV and viability assessments.
• Oversee contractors and consultants, ensuring value for money, quality delivery and budget compliance.
• Support emergency preparedness, incident response, and resident communication during disruptions.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading strategic asset management within social housing or a comparable sector.
• Ability to be based in London for the majority of the week.
