Senior Audit Manager – Leatherhead, Surrey

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join our award‑winning independent accountancy and tax practice in Leatherhead, Surrey. The role offers London‑quality client work, complex audit assignments and advisory exposure, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients ranging from owner‑managed businesses to large, complex groups.
• Lead audit planning, risk assessment and delivery from inception through to completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing commercial and accounting support.
• Collaborate closely with Audit Partners and Directors on engagements and strategic matters.
• Review statutory financial statements prepared under UK GAAP and FRS 1.
• Participate in advisory projects such as due diligence, investigations, valuations and complex financial reporting.

Required profile

• Experienced Audit Senior Manager, Audit Manager or senior audit professional.
• Comfortable delivering technical audit work and providing commercial advisory insight.
• Proven ability to engage with business owners, boards and senior decision‑makers.
• Desire for senior‑level responsibility, partner access and long‑term career progression.
