Senior Auditor – Audit Senior Associate (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected, growing audit firm in Edinburgh to recruit an Audit Senior Associate. This position is ideal for a CA or ACCA qualified professional – or someone on track to qualify – who seeks genuine career progression, diverse client exposure and a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and finance teams across a varied client portfolio.
• Manage and coordinate audit assignments, supervising junior staff and monitoring timelines.
• Collaborate closely with experienced managers and partners to provide advisory and accounting services.
• Develop and manage your own client portfolio, expanding advisory capabilities.
• Participate in firm‑wide initiatives, projects and the strategic direction of the audit team.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA qualification (or imminent qualification).
• Recent qualification or qualifying within the coming months.
• Motivation for career progression and taking on significant responsibility from day one.
• Ability to work in a relationship‑led, collaborative team environment.
