Senior Business Acceptance Analyst (6 Month FTC)

About the role

The prestigious international law firm is seeking a Senior Business Acceptance Analyst on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to lead day‑to‑day AML compliance and client intake activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AML compliance, including client due diligence, sanctions screening, reputational risk assessment and new business intake.
• Review and approve escalated AML matters, ensuring appropriate due‑diligence levels in line with regulations.
• Conduct conflict checks, resolve or escalate issues as required.
• Perform client due diligence using internal and external databases and research tools.
• Assess risk profiles of new and existing clients and flag high‑risk cases.
• Provide AML, conflict and business intake guidance to partners, fee earners and support teams.
• Create, maintain and monitor information barriers, communicating any issues to the business.

Required profile

• Experience in an international law firm conducting client due diligence.
• Strong understanding of the SRA’s rules on conflicts of interest and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of ABA conflicts rules is advantageous.
• Ability to research and present information succinctly from multiple sources.
