Senior Business Consultant

About the role

Lynx Recruitment is partnering with a fast‑growing consulting practice to find a senior‑level Business Consultant. You will lead complex, multi‑workstream projects for both private and public sector clients, turning strategic ideas into tangible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of large consulting engagements, from mobilisation to implementation.
• Develop diagnostics, business cases, operating models and strategic roadmaps.
• Present clear, compelling recommendations to C‑suite stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior client leaders and identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to business development – proposals, pitches and market engagement.
• Support methodology development, thought leadership and internal asset creation.
• Mentor junior consultants and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 10+ years of management‑consulting experience, preferably at a recognised consultancy or Big 4.
• Proven ability to independently lead large, complex engagements.
• Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and executive‑level stakeholder management.
• Commercial acumen with experience in P&L, business cases and value creation.
• Experience managing and developing junior team members.
• Degree‑level education; MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
