Senior Business Development Manager – Corporate (14‑month contract)

About the role

A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support its Corporate business group in London. This 14‑month fixed‑term role reports to the Head of Business Development and works closely with senior partners to shape and execute growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Corporate BD strategy, aligning with firm‑wide objectives.
• Drive client‑targeting programmes, revenue‑growth initiatives and high‑value opportunity pipelines.
• Manage key bids, proposals and pricing strategies across the Corporate practice.
• Oversee thought‑leadership campaigns, profile‑raising activities and market positioning.
• Advise partners on market opportunities and client‑relationship strategies.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team of BD professionals.
• Provide reporting, insights and analytics to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven senior BD leadership experience within legal or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Strong track record in bids, client development and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project‑management capabilities.
• Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working at pace.
