Join a leading UK heat network developer and operator in a pivotal role driving the energy transition. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our district heating networks across the North and Midlands, securing new clients and fostering sustainable growth.
Missions principales
- Identify, develop, and secure new commercial connections for existing district heating networks.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial opportunity identification to closing complex commercial deals.
- Develop robust, competitive commercial proposals tailored to specific client needs.
- Lead grant funding applications and coordinate related administrative processes.
- Manage commercial risks and lead contract negotiations in alignment with internal governance frameworks.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities, industry bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with technical, financial, and governance teams to deliver viable decarbonization solutions.
Profil recherché
- Proven track record in business development, ideally within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and managing complex commercial relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate technical and financial complexities to propose bespoke solutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on risk management and contractual integrity.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for supporting decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives.
