Senior Business Development Manager – Industrial Fasteners

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth for our industrial fasteners and fixing systems business. Based in the field with occasional visits to our Lincolnshire head office, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence across the Midlands and the South of the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory, focusing on fasteners and related industrial sectors.
• Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate market and customer data.
• Contribute to the development of the sales strategy for your region.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and handover.
• Develop and nurture existing accounts to maximise revenue.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market shifts to inform sales tactics.

Required profile

• Technical or business qualification, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven ability to manage your own diary and prospect defined markets with minimal supervision.
• Strong drive to continuously seek new sales opportunities.
• Experience in sectors such as consumer electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, renewable energy, automotive, aerospace, or similar is advantageous.

Required skills

• Independent prospecting and pipeline management.
• Effective use of CRM tools for data tracking.
• Ability to analyse market data and adjust sales approach.

• Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £90,000 per year.
