Senior Business Development Manager – Litigation

About the role

This senior position sits within a leading collaborative law firm’s litigation department. You will partner with a highly connected BD team and senior partners to shape and execute business development and marketing strategies that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the BD strategy for the litigation practice, including targeting and client listening initiatives.
• Coach partners on strategic BD initiatives and manage a select portfolio of complex client relationships.
• Map opportunity size, create client‑focused agendas, and coordinate cross‑functional BD activities.
• Collaborate with the senior partner team to ensure alignment of BD goals with firm objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform business development plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development and client management within the legal sector.
• Specific exposure to litigation services and understanding of the litigation market.
• Strong ability to influence senior partners and work collaboratively across teams.
