Senior Business Development Manager – TMT (14‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice within a leading international law firm. This 14‑month fixed‑term position will be based in London and will work closely with partners and senior leadership to shape and execute the firm’s international BD strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan for the TMT practice across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and identify new market opportunities within the technology sector.
• Lead strategic campaigns, pitches and thought‑leadership initiatives to win new work.
• Coach senior stakeholders and support cross‑border collaboration.
• Analyse market data and insights to drive commercial growth.

Required profile

• Significant business development experience in legal or professional services, preferably with exposure to technology.
• Proven track record in client development, strategic planning, pitching and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial acumen and project‑management capability.
• Ability to influence senior partners and work at an executive level.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using marketing technology platforms.
